Tri-series timings changed

“After consulting with other two boards (BCCI and Sri Lanka Cricket), we have decided to advance the rest of the matches by 30 minutes to counter the dew effect,” Jalal Younis, head of the BCB Media Committee, said here.

The remaining matches will start at 2.00 pm local time (1.30 pm IST), Younis said. “We also held talks with Nimbus, the broadcasters of the event. The initial proposal was to advance the match by an hour and a half. But it was impossible to do so.

“The Nimbus heads were of the opinion that matches could be brought forward by a maximum of 30 minutes since the event has already been provided to Europe under old timings,” Younis added.
