<p>A week after a girl’s body was recovered in several pieces, the police on Sunday arrested two youngster, including the teen’s lover, in connection with the case. </p>.<p>The lover subsequently confessed to killing the girl in a “fit of rage” after finding out she had shared her pictures with some male friends.<br /><br />The body of Rajni (name changed), a law student who had gone missing a week ago near her residence here, was recovered a day later in several plastic bags near a super speciality hospital in the state capital. The body’s upper portion had been packed into a sack and thrown near a busy highway.<br /><br />The cops on Sunday arrested Himanshu Prajapati, Rajni’s lover, and his friend Anuj on charges of murder. <br /><br />Lucknow police chief Yashshvi Yadav told reporters here that Himanshu “loved Rajni deeply” and had killed her “in a fit of rage” after he found out she had shared her pictures with some male friends.<br /><br />Yadav said Himanshu had taken her to his home last Sunday after having a dinner outside. As he suspected that Rajni had other friends as well, he forced her to unlock her cell phone and saw that she had shared her pictures. <br /><br />“Himanshu got so angry that he strangled Rajni and left home leaving her there”, Yadav said adding that Rajni had lost consciousness but was still alive.<br /><br />Himanshu had Anuj buy a handsaw and “cut” Rajni into pieces in a bid to make her identification difficult, packed the body pieces in several polythene packets and threw at different places in the area.<br /><br />The police have recovered the handsaw and Rajni’s cell phone.</p>
