Coorg charm to light up screen soon

The Coorg beauty, who made a foray into Kannada cinema through Abhimani, is excited by this offer from the acclaimed director and says, “When I was contacted for the role, I did not have a second thought, I readily agreed. I still don’t know what the movie is about and what kind of a role I am going to play in this film. I can only say that this project has come at the right phase of my career,” says Nidhi.

Nidhi will be playing the lady love of Diganth, who has already been finalised for the lead role. “For the first time, I am working with Diganth-Yogaraj Bhat duo, who has given some of the best movies to Kannada industry. I am expecting another break with this project,’’ she says.  

Meanwhile, Nidhi is anticipating her first New Year release, Krishna Nee Late Agi Baro, an out-and-out comedy directed by popular comedian Mohan.

Nidhi essays a role of a traditional girl in the movie, starring Ramesh Aravind in the lead. The movie is slated for release in February.
“I enjoyed my role in the film to the fullest as I didn't find any difficulty in doing a comedy role.We had a blast during  the shooting and it was nice to act with Ramesh Aravind. Mohan, who is known for his comic roles, has emerged as a talented director through this movie,’’ states Nidhi.
