Indian-origin Arun Pudur in top 10, under-40 rich list

Indian-origin billionaire Arun Pudur, CEO of software firm Celframe Technology Group of Companies, is among the world's top ten richest individuals under 40, while Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has topped the list.

According to Wealth-X, a global wealth intelligence and prospecting company, Malaysia-based Pudur is ranked at 10th position on the list with a personal fortune of USD 4 billion.

Celframe has fortune 500 clients including Boeing, MTv, Nortel, GM and Delta.

Zuckerberg is followed by another Facebook employee Dustin Moskovitz and WhatsApp co-founder and CEO Jan Koum in the second and third position respectively, Wealth-X said.
"The list is dominated by male technopreneurs, with four of the men deriving their fortunes from their early involvement in Facebook," Wealth-X added.

Zuckerberg, 30, is estimated to be worth USD 35.1 billion, more than 40 per cent of the combined networth of all the other billionaires on the list.

Dustin Moskovitz, Facebook's third employee and the youngest individual on the list has a fortune of USD 7.7 billion, while Jan Koum's personal wealth stood at USD 7.7 billion.

Mobile messaging application WhatsApp was acquired by Facebook in 2014 for USD 19 billion.
Other individual on the list who is linked to Facebook is Sean Parker (Facebook's first president and Napster co-founder) ranked 5th with a fortune of USD 5.2 billion, and Eduardo Saverin (Facebook co-founder) ranked 9th with wealth of USD 4.4.

The list also features two under-40 female billionaires -- 34-year-old Country Garden Holdings heiress Yang Huiyan of China and biotech entrepreneur Elizabeth Holmes.

Huiyan's networth totals USD 5.1 billion, making her Asia's richest woman while Holmes, 31, who has amassed a fortune of USD 4.5 billion is America's youngest female billionaire.

Others in the list include, Scott Duncan ranked 4th on the list with a fortune of USD 5.5 billion and Alejandro Santo Domingo Villa (7, USD 4.9 billion).
