H1N1 fever has claimed another life in the district, taking the total number of deaths due to the infection to three.
Ningamma (65), a resident of Channanayakanahalli of Mandya taluk, is the victim. She had been admitted to the District Hospital, a few days ago, after symptoms of H1N1 fever was noticed. The woman breathed her last on Friday night.
Test report of blood samples of the patient confirm that the woman died of H1N1, said District Health Officer Dr Manchegowda.
