JOIN USEstablished with the vision to encourage the State’s small and medium enterprises, the corporation, going by its performance, has been extending its support to many firms from across the spectrum in Karnataka. Top three names among as many as 1.6 lakh firms that have benefited through KSFC include, Infosys Technologies, Biocon and Reva. While, Infosys got Rs 23 lakh sanctioned from the corporation, Biocon and Reva have availed Rs 8 lakh and Rs 120 lakh respectively. Addressing reporters at the corporation’s Golden Jubilee celebration , Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa said “The government is extremely proud of the achievements of the corporation and hopes that it continues to do well and extend its support so that the State can achieve an inclusive growth.”

Meanwhile, as part of its Golden Jubilee celebrations, the corporation also unveiled a book —— Trailblazer —— reflecting the experience 300 entrepreneurs/companies that have achieved big after receiving financial aid from the corporation. It also awarded 30 top entrepreneurs/companies including Infosys, Biocon et al, for their achievements.
