JOIN USOn the occasion of ‘International Women’s Day’, a stiletto run was held at The Collection, UB City.
Sponsored by Elle and produced by Goldrush Entertainment Pvt.Ltd, what made the event fun was that participating men were provided with stilts to run and support their women in the 50 m races. Women were required to run in no less than 3.5 inches heels.
Prizes were given to the first three winners to complete each race and there were several more surprises as well, including 10 Fossil watches as gifts.
The event saw an overwhelming 60 women and eight men coming forward to participate.
The overall winner was Leanne (34) from South Africa while the runners-up were Swati (28) and Arti (26) from Bengaluru.
The ‘Ms Glamorous’ title was accorded to Neetu Singh while model Elixir Nahar won the ‘Best- Dressed’ title. The event attracted participation from several prominent Bengalureans including Wanitha Ashok (fitness expert), Archana Jayakrishnan (model/actor), Lakshmi Jagmohan (designer), Elixir (model), Sonya Suri (interior designer), Priya Nayak
(model) and Viraja Archar (model).
