<p>A 47-year-old man hanged himself at his home in Old Banaswadi in the early hours of Tuesday. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Police identified the deceased as Devi Prasad who worked as a supervisor at a private company. Around 1 am, he went to his bedroom and hanged himself.<br /><br /> The incident came to light around 8 am when his family members called him up but there was no response. They then went to his house and found him dead. They called the police later. <br /><br />Prasad, who was also into dog-breeding business, had separated from his wife over marital discord. His parents were no more.<br /><br /> Recently, his siblings demanded their share of the ancestral house in which he was living alone. <br /><br />The siblings had an argument over the matter and Prasad opposed dividing the house. Police suspect he was so upset over the matter that he took the extreme step.</p>
