JOIN USA 47-year-old man hanged himself at his home in Old Banaswadi in the early hours of Tuesday.
Police identified the deceased as Devi Prasad who worked as a supervisor at a private company. Around 1 am, he went to his bedroom and hanged himself.
The incident came to light around 8 am when his family members called him up but there was no response. They then went to his house and found him dead. They called the police later.
Prasad, who was also into dog-breeding business, had separated from his wife over marital discord. His parents were no more.
Recently, his siblings demanded their share of the ancestral house in which he was living alone.
The siblings had an argument over the matter and Prasad opposed dividing the house. Police suspect he was so upset over the matter that he took the extreme step.
