BJP is all set to take political capital out of JD(S) leader and former prime minister H D Deve Gowda’s tirade against Chief Minister Yeddyurappa in the run-up to the BBMP elections.
Several ministers are said to have told Yeddyurappa during the Cabinet meeting on Tuesday that the party should make the maximum out of the public abuse hurdled by Gowda.
Sources said the ministers suggested that Gowda’s diatribe and the subsequent condemnation of his statement had created a sympathy for the CM, which should be converted into a poll advantage.
