Have nothing to do with officer's death: Legislator

Congress MLA from Bangarpet S N Narayanaswamy said on Wednesday he had nothing to do with the mysterious death of IAS officer D K Ravi.

Reacting to charges made by Hanumantharayappa, he said he had no reason to put any kind of pressure on the officer. The MLA said he never asked the chief minister to transfer Ravi.

Earlier, Hanumantharayappa himself had said he requested the chief minister to transfer Ravi from Kolar. The chief minister too has saidthis.

Narayanaswamy said he was a contractor for real estate firm Confident Group and had sold some plots to the company in the past.
Ravi might have committed suicide due to personal reason, he said.
