CM told to convince farmers

Congress leader B Janardhana Poojary has appealed to the Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa to convince the farmers staging protests against acquisition of land for the BMIC project. Otherwise, he said, farmers’ tears would finish the CM.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Poojary said, the CM armed with necessary documents should sit with the farmers and convince them. If Deve Gowda and other CMs had committed mistakes with respect to the project, Yeddyurappa should make efforts to rectify them, he said.
