Taking a dig at parents who give junk food to their children, wellknown Interventional Cardiologist Dr B V Manjunath advised parents to feed the children with healthy and nutritious food.

Addressing the parents as well as little students at the graudation day of the first batch of kingergarterners at Gonzaga school at Loyola Hall here on Saturday, he expressed concern over the rapidly growing child obesity caused due to consumption of junk food by little children. “If you don’t care about your children now, you will find them unhealthy and obese soon,” he cautioned.

On the other hand, it was heartwarming to see parents as they watched their little angels make their way to the auditorium.

The graduating students along with the dignitaries and kindergarten teachers looked impressive as they walked  in a procession, gracefully adorned in their traditional convocation gowns and caps.

The other dignitaries who graced the occasion included St Aloysius Institutions Rector Rev Fr Denzil Lobo, Gonzaga School Manager Rev Fr Joseph D’Souza and Principal Grace Noronha.
The ‘little graduates’ also shared their joyous kindergartener experiences of the past two years while Abhilash, parent of Joel Abhilash, shared his experiences with the gathering.
Preethan Pereira, kindergarten teacher also shared her experiences on the ocassion. Students were awarded with merit certificates.
