<p>Three days after the autorickshaw drivers, in the city, observed bandh by staying off roads in protest against cab services, they again came together in large numbers, on Tuesday, and took out a protest rally.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The auto drivers, led by Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) leader Shabbeer Mustafa, gathered at Doddakere Maidan (football grounds) on Bengaluru-Nilgiri road, and drove up to the ground opposite the Maharaja’s College through Chamaraja Double Road and JLB Road. They later walked up to the Deputy Commissioner’s office, raising slogans against city taxi services.<br /><br />The auto drivers alleged that they have been deprived of daily bread due to the advent of cab services that is becoming popular with every passing day. Most of the transport operators hail from lower middle class families and the taxis are causing a dent. <br />The cab services should be revoked before the corporates foray into the domain, the protesters urged.<br /></p>
