<p>After the success of the superhero science fiction movie Krissh, film-maker Rakesh Roshan had planned a hugely ambitious sequel to the film that would have certainly raised the bar when it came to sci-fi flicks in India. But after watching the Hollywood blockbuster Avatar, the Indian director is definitely having second thoughts about making the sequel.<br /><br />Rakesh Roshan doesn’t deny the fact that Avatar has indeed forced him to hold his plans to make Krissh 3. <br /><br />“I saw the film in Los Angeles. And it certainly made me sit up and rethink about Krissh. But I don’t think it is impossible to create effects on par with Hollywood. We need to budget Krissh 3 intelligently,” he said. <br /><br />With jaw-dropping special effects of Avatar that were completed on an enormous budget using the latest technology, noted Bollywood film-makers like Rakesh Roshan have been rethinking the making of sci-fi movies that can measure up to this Hollywood blockbuster.<br />Says a source, “Hrithik is not sure about the feasibility of the Krissh series any more. Not after James Cameron’s Avatar. He wants the project to go through a budgetary scrutiny to see whether they can create effects comparable with Hollywood’s Avatar. <br />Otherwise what is the point?”<br /><br /> It looks like James Cameron’s Avatar has indeed brought in a cinematic revolution across the globe, raising audience expectations to a whole new level!</p>
