Eclipse makes public spellbound

Several traditional families in the region did not take their lunch, adhering to their tradition. Many people had the breakfast before the onset of eclipse and had their lunch in the evening.

Another belief among villagers that people are not supposed to come out of their houses during solar eclipse. Following this, several shops remained closed due to lack of customers in the town. Many people viewed solar eclipse using safe goggles and x-ray films. Meanwhile, some watched the reflection of solar eclipse on solution prepared using cow dung.

The town wore a deserted look due to the solar eclipse on Friday. Though schools, colleges, government offices, banks and other establishments functioned as usual, attendance was very less. Many confined themselves to their houses.  Some restaurants in the town downed their shutters till the end of eclipse. Enthusiasts were seen watching the eclipse using x-ray films.
