The hospital has installed a CT scan centre, blood components lab, 24-hour pharmacy block and store and new community health and development initiative - cardiovascular diseases project and X-press clinic in Anand Nagar.
Speaking at the event, D B Chandre Gowda, Bangalore North Member of Parliament, said that the Christian missionaries have served the health sector and had done a lot of work in the area even before Independence.
Mumtaz Ali Khan, Minister for Haj, Wakf and Minority Welfare, urged Gowda to push for upgrading the hospital's nursing school to a nursing college.
Bangalore Baptist Hospital director Alexander Thomas, said that the hospital was building a cancer hospital, constructing a mortuary and nursing school.
There was also a plan to increasing bed strength and expand ICU and Pediatric Unit, which are slated to complete by the end of this year, director Alexander added.
