Abhishek, Pradeep shine for Occasionals

A patient century from Abhishek Reddy followed by impressive bowling from Pradeep T helped Bangalore Occasionals gain the crucial three points in their drawn encounter against Vijaya Cricket Club in the KSCA Group I (Division I) league tournament here.

Batting first, Occasionals put up a solid show with Abhishek’s 102 (154b, 10x4) laying foundation to their strong first innings total of 313 for four in 76 overs. Apart from Abhishek, Bharath KN (59), Mir Kaunian Abbas (61) and Abdul Majid (56) slammed fifties to pile more misery on Vijaya CC bowlers.
