Pre-budget meeting by month-end

Yeddyurappa, who was in the City on Tuesday, to attend a religious programme organised at Navagruha Theertha, near here said: “A meeting of all ministers and higher officials of different departments will be convened this month-end on the budget. Senior officials of the State have recently visited various states to study developmental projects taken up there. These aspects will be kept in mind while preparing the budget,” he said,  The Government would give special preference to the agriculture in the budget, he added.

He said the rehabilitation works of the flood-hit villages were going smoothly. Later, inspecting the construction of the Suvarna Vidhana Soudha in Belgaum,  the CM said, the winter session of  the legislature will be held at the Suvarna Vidhana Soudha, in January 2011.
