BBMP Commissioner G Kumar Naik said that the main objective of the programme is to identify low-lying areas in the City that lacks hygiene and proper sanitation facilities and take up the cleaning programme in such places. <br /><br />“It is a continuos drive and every week about 28 places will be identified and cleaned by gangmen and the pourakarmikas,” the commissioner said.<br /><br />As many as 120 civic workers will take up cleaning work from 6:30 am to 1 pm in each constituency, the Palike officials said.<br /><br />The BBMP commissioner will listen to the grievances of pourakarmikas during interaction programme.<br /></p>
