Assistant Director of Land Records (ADLR) has sought one month's time to complete the joint survey at the disputed property near the Mantri Mall in Malleswaram.

The South Western Railways had filed a complaint to the Upalokayukta that Mantri Developers has encroached its property behind Mantri Mall project in Malleswaram.

The Railways had stated the ADLR was not holding a survey despite filing an application in this regard. The complaint stated that the Railways has six acres of land adjacent to the present Swastik Metro Station.

Upalokayukta Justice Subhash B Adi has directed the authorities to take into consideration the original title deeds and original village map while conducting the survey. Upalokayuktya has also directed the officials to identify the boundaries to know the exact extent of the land. The ADLR has said the joint survey report will be submitted by June 24.
