Four wins from as many races helped local boy Ricky Donison of BPC Racing claim the top spot at the end of the opening day in the Senior Max category of the JK Tyre Rotax Max Kart Open here on Saturday.
Held at city’s brand new karting circuit — Meco Kartopia, the Bengaluru boy impressed one and all with some quality karting action to lead the pack with 40 points. Rayo Racing’s Arya Chirag Gandhi is placed second with 30 points to his credit.
In the Junior Max category, another Bengaluru boy Akash Gowda of Meco Racing ended the day on pole position with 38 points, while Rayo Racing’s Aaroh Ravindra is second with just a point separating the top two.
