The brand also introduces its key range called ‘Love Summer’, which is meant for the free soul and the traveller. For the design team, it’s the customer that has been the inspiration behind every collection. Says Kalyan Kumar, COO, Splash India, “The ‘Love Summer’ offers mix and match print patterns like surreal tropical prints, jungle camouflage and conversational quotes. This includes the entire wardrobe for summer travel and vacations from dresses, tee shirts and crop tops to hot pants, denim, palazzos and swim wear. It comes in refreshing colours like pinks and pastels.”

The ‘Splash Basics’ collection includes basic T-shirts, tees, tees with neck details, drop V-neck, deep scoops in vibrant colours. The ‘Splash Youth’ collection features the preppy look, highlights the feminine yet bold look and brings alive the 50’s fashion, nautical, outdoorsy and sports look for men.

For a fresh outlook on boardroom dressing, the ‘Smart collection for men’ infuses bright colours like dark blue indigo, wine, light beige and all over prints. For women, the ‘DNM’ collection features long and short dungarees, day-time playsuits and quirky accessories. Even for men, the wardrobe from DNM has a huge variety.

 Adding to the collection, Splash has a line of trendy accessories. “For men, we have wrist bands in various forms like leather, beads, rubber and strings. There are regular and sequined caps, beach straw hats and denim caps for any look. There are also some cool sling bags, travel bags, backpacks, wallets and belts. For women, there is a wider range of accessories like smart floral scarfs, printed scarfs, sequined caps, floral caps, beach straw hats, small purses, leather handbags, beach bags, college bags, sleek colourful waist belts, multi-colour bracelets, clasp/cuffs bracelets, jewellery like layered & long necklaces, pendant neckpieces, earrings like hoops, pendant earrings, and slinky earrings,” he explains.

He advises one to go for a fresh look with bright colours. “The tropical prints flowing fabrics are trend-setting so revamp your wardrobe with the new collection. Accessorise your look with Bohemian edgy earrings and rustic earthy jewellery. Short skirts, crop tops and dungarees are making a style statement too.”

Harshith Somaiah, an aeronautical engineering student of Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, wore a light green collared shirt over a T-shirt along with three-fourth pants and a hat. This look was part of the ‘Smart collection for men’.

Sadia Naaz, a B.Com student of Bishop Cotton Women’s Christian College, wore a peach top and printed bottom from ‘Splash Youth Section’. A pair of bangles and black neckpiece completed the look.

Somanna, a second-year engineering student of Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, wore a yellow T-shirt and jeans from ‘Splash Youth Collection’. He also wore a wristband and carried a blue bag.

Anjum, a biotechnology graduate from St Joseph’s College of Arts and Science, liked her casual look with a white top from ‘Basics’ and denim jacket and printed denim pants from ‘DNM’. She accessorised it with a blingy neon bag and belt.

Thejoroop Reddy, a second-year MTech student of UVCE, went for a beach look with a cool blue T-shirt and blue jeans from ‘Beach and Jeans’ section of ‘DNM’. He also wore a wristband.

 Aenaz, a second-year BA student from Jyoti Nivas College, wore a floral Splash jumpsuit from the ‘Youth Section’. She wore a white netted jacket over it along with bangles and a neckpiece.
