Food has always been close to my heart since the very first day I stepped into this world. Everything in this culinary world fascinates me. I am extremely passionate about food and I stress on it being good. I am a perfectionist and I believe it is very important to be one especially in this industry. For me, everything has to be just right and look good on a plate.

.
I am currently a final year Bachelor of Mass Media student, majoring in journalism. I want to pursue my further studies in food journalism and culinary arts and hope to become a well-known food writer and critic someday! I have always admired the way my mum cooked and would love to be her official ‘taster’, putting my finger into every dish and giving my little comments.

Since I left home two years ago, I discovered my calling to take this unconditional love for food to the next level. One day, while browsing through my Twitter timeline, I discovered Food Bloggers Association Of India, and introduced my blog to them, and have since been a part of it. My passion for food blogging has only grown stronger since then.

I am the blog owner of ‘Yummy Inside My Tummy’, a space for all food enthusiasts who smell, breathe and eat good food. It’s the place where you can follow me on my gastronomical journeys and share your stories.

So, I’ve decided to make ‘Nana’s Meat Patties’. My grandmother, Angela Peres, usually is not the type who you’d find in the kitchen on a regular basis, but when she does, you are sure to indulge in some of her finest dishes. Nana was always fascinated by cooking and decided to do a few courses from a home chef. And then one day, she got into the kitchen to experiment and voila! ‘Nana’s Meat Patties’ came into existence.

The meat patties may seem like a burden for a busy working person but trust me, it is not as hard as it seems. I absolutely enjoy making these. The secret ingredient of this recipe is ‘love’. Give it your heart and soul, and it will turn out fabulous!

There have been a lot of family members and close friends that crave for these scrumptious little treats. They tend to be very addictive – you cannot stop at one.

These patties have become a part of the household now and our all-time favourite travel snack. I remember the day, when I made it for the first time, I was so scared at what a disaster they may turn out to be but then when I got excellent feedback from everyone, it was the best feeling ever! I can make these every day now.
