PES counselling for B Tech admissions

PES University will conduct the first round of counselling for B Tech admissions on June 6 and 7 for candidates who have appeared for PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT-2015).

According to an official press release, the admission process will be based on the ranks obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam conducted by the university.

PESSAT-2015 was held during May 2 and 20, 2015. According to statistics provided by the university, over 11,000 applicants took the computer based exam in 34 centers across the country competing for 400 seats. The results were announced on May 28.

Students who have scored more than 60 percent in class 12 exam are eligible to apply for the engineering program. The university has stated that it is mandatory for the candidate to be present in person at the prescribed reporting time.

“An exception is allowed if the candidate is attending the verification process in connection with CET at the same time,” the press release added.

If for any reason, candidates reject the seat they are allowed to attend the second round of counselling, university officials said.
