LDRA launches certification programme with IESA, SIATI

LDRA, a UK-based specialist provider of software testing tools, has teamed up with industry bodies India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) and Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries (SIATI) to announce a Certification Ecosystem Development Program (CEDP) in India.

CEDP aims to encourage Indian companies, especially in the aerospace, defence, automotive and embedded systems industries, to be on the same platform as their international counterparts.

In the light of the 'Make in India' campaign, CEDP commits to mentoring Indian companies to improve their designing and manufacturing capabilities. Therefore, an established ecosystem for safety and security, which includes academic, industrial, research and development (R&D) and regulatory bodies is the need of the hour, said Shinto Joseph, Operations and Sales Director, LDRA India.

Air Commodore (retired) Joseph Varkey, Honorary Secretary of SIATI said LDRA's initiative could combine well with the Airworthiness Certification Working Group of the society.
