<p>Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate R Killivalavan, also slapped a fine of Rs 5,000 on the accused, N G Arunkumar, a CBI release said here on Thursday.<br /><br />Under Sec 420 IPC<br /><br />He was convicted under section 420 IPC (cheating) and section 66 of IT Act (hacking). CBI investigated the case following a complaint from PIB.<br /><br />Investigations revealed that Arunkumar logged on to BSNL broadband internet connection and made alteration in the computer database pertaining to broadband internet user accounts of 52 subscribers, the release said.</p>
