Two held for flesh trade

The CCB police raided a flat in a service apartment on Lavelle Road on Friday and arrested two persons for indulging in flesh trade.

The suspects were identified as Dilip Kumar, 30, and Yogesh, 26, both residents of Agrahara Dasarahalli. The police recovered two bikes, two cellphones, Rs 6,000 in cash and condom packets from them. They rescued three women from West Bengal, Mumbai and Bhopal.

The kingpin of the flesh trade, Arun Bhag and his two other associates Girish and Venkatesh, are still at large. Arun had rented the flat in the service apartment. Venkatesh, Girish, Dilip and Yogesh would act as per his instructions. Dilip and Yogesh would contact customers, while Girish and Venkatesh would pick them up from near Hotel Airlines and bring them to the flat, said the police. They would charge between Rs 25,000-30,000 for two hours from the customers and would pay each woman Rs 10,000 a day, added the police.
