Impressions’ is a women’s clothing store that has been around for 15 years selling trendy clothes, swimwear, accessories and lingerie.

“I’m from Mumbai and I used to travel abroad a lot. After seeing all the styles in garments available there, I wanted to bring the best to the City. When we started off, there were not many stores which offered these to beat the international markets. Our garments are sourced from Thailand, China and emerging designers from Mumbai,” narrates Nasir Jiwani, proprietor of the store.

The highlight of the brand is that it promotes top styles at affordable prices, ranging between Rs 395 onwards for tops and Rs 900 onwards for dresses.  From halter necks, spaghetti tops in plain colours, sequenced patterns, to jeans and even dresses, the store has something for everyone.  “One can shop from our huge range of women’s fashion items including dresses, tops and accessories. We draw inspiration from the latest trends on the runway to what the celebrities are into. We aim to get our consumers the best of international fashion at an attractive price,” he details.

Nasir says that the brand even has regular customers who ask them if a particular style from international ramps can be sourced.  “We have exclusive ranges and some outfits which also have different sizes.” Being summer, brights shades are in vogue now, says Nasir.   “Thus bright blues, greens, yellow and other such colours are ruling the present styles. Jumpsuits, tube tops, bandage dresses, lace dresses and crop tops are a trend this summer. Crop tops can be paired with high-waisted shorts, a skirt or pants,” he says. “We update our stock every month to provide a current inventory of fashion; so one will find a wide selection of trendy clothing and accessories,” details Nasir.

Though the brand aims to bring style for today’s youth, they do not want to over think about their target audience. “We believe that women are blessed beings and fashion is supposed to be fun. The streets are your runway, make your walk a memorable one,” he says.

‘Gorgeous fashion that doesn’t stop’ is the brand’s theme. “Our focus is on party wear as we feel that there is a lot of gap between the trends available here and globally. Casual wear is available everywhere, but not so much for occasional wear,” he says. This store is located at 8/9/10, Ashoka Plaza, Kamaraj Road, Commercial Street.
