A case has been registered against the owner Narayanaswamy, said Labour Inspector Venkatesh.
Murali of Vakkaleri village in Kolar taluk was working with the woodworks for the past several months.
A team led by labour officers including Venkatesh, Revanna, Kolar Labour Inspector Sundaresh, Jayashankar of Mulbagal, Jakir of KGF and Yuvajana Director Kalai Selvi, Block Education Officers Laxminarayan and Srikant raided the shop. Murali has been admitted to the child labour school.
