Speaking to presspersons, he said because of the Cauvery Tribunal verdict the State was not in a position to develop tanks in the Cauvery basin, whereas, there had been no such a hurdle for developing tanks in the Krishna basin.
The department was preparing an action plan for this purpose, he said.
