Last Updated 23 January 2010, 11:39 IST

"We met for a brief while and discussed the defence strategy but I cannot reveal what we talked," said Pawar, who is defending Kasab in the 26/11 terror attacks case.
Kasab had surprised everyone in the court yesterday when he said that his lawyer was not cooperative and was not advising him.
His remarks prompted judge M L Tahaliyani observe that he was not holding meetings with his lawyer despite permission given for interview.
Kasab's trial has almost concluded and the court is now recording his statement on evidence adduced by the prosecution against him.
Before the court began recording his statement, Kasab was given an opportunity to speak to his lawyer but he refused saying he did not wish to consult anyone. However, yesterday he complained that his lawyer was not helping him.
Ever since the trial began last May, Kasab's moodswings have dominated the proceedings.
Sources said the court might conclude his statement on January 25 and then proceed to record statements of the other two accused, Faheem Ansari and Sabauddin Ahmed.
Kasab is charged with killing 166 people during the attacks while the other two are facing charges of providing maps of target locations to LeT.
