2 men die as lorry rear-ends their bike

Two men in early 20s were killed when a lorry rear-ended their motorcycle and ran them over near the Kengeri bus stand on Mysuru Road on Wednesday night, police said. 

Pradeep, 23, and Vinay, 22, residents of Pantharapalya who worked for a private company, were going home after attending to some personal work in Kengeri. While Pradeep was riding the bike, Vinay was on the pillion.

Then the lorry emerged and hit their bike from the rear. The young men suffered grievous head injuries. The lorry driver abandoned his vehicle and fled the spot. 

Police took the injured men to a hospital where doctors declared them brought dead. According to police, they have seized the lorry and are looking for its driver.
