The BBMP election manifesto committee of the BJP will hold consultation with experts and resource persons in the field of urban governance and town planning for drafting the party manifesto.
The committee, headed by Malleswaram MLA Dr C N Ashwath Narayan, held its first meeting here on Saturday. The BJP is planning to release its manifesto in the second week of July.
Former minister S Suresh Kumar, who is also a committee member, said the panel will try to ascertain structural drawbacks in the present BBMP system and come out with concrete solutions in the manifesto. The party will list out steps it would take to fulfill the aspirations of Bengalureans, he added.
