Launching a blistering attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Friday claimed that the people and farmers of the country will reduce his 56 inches chest to 5.6 inches in the coming six months.

Rahul challenged Modi over the land bill and declared that the Congress will not allow its passage in Parliament.

“The BJP brought the ordinance three times but the Congress will not let them pass the Land Bill in Parliament. You will see how the Congress party, farmers, labourers and people of this country will turn 56 inch chest into 5.6 inches within the next six months,” said Rahul.

We will not allow the NDA government to acquire even an inch of land in the country, he added.

Rahul also slammed Modi over his silence on various controversies and reminded him of the pre-election promises of making India a corruption free country.

“In Rajasthan, we have Lalit Modi government, in Madhya Pradesh its Vyapam government, in Maharashtra its Munde government and in Chhattisgarh its Dhaan government. But our PM who has 56 inch chest has nothing to say,” he said.

Interacting with party workers, Rahul said that all the ministers in the Union government are “puppets” and the NDA is a single man government run by Modi.

“BJP has failed to understand that its not the voice of Rahul Gandhi or the Congress. Its the voice of farmers and people who are eager to ask questions to the PM,” he added.

Over the issue of black money, Rahul again targeted the prime minister and said: “Why doesn’t the PM bring back Lalit Modi to India and end his government in Rajasthan. He is sitting in London with crores of rupees and PM is making no efforts to prosecute a fugitive who has already been identified.”

Hitting out at Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Rahul said that her remote control is in the hands of Lalit Modi who is operating Rajasthan government from London.
