In what turned out to be a lopsided affair, defending champions Jaipur Pink Panthers put in a ruthless performance, beating hosts Dabang Delhi 51-21 in the Pro Kabaddi League here on Monday.

Jaipur, which had started the day in sixth spot, climbed to fourth in the league table.
Delhi, who were red-hot against Patna Pirates on Sunday, didn't show up for what was a crucial game for them.

In front of a near full-capacity crowd at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex, the hosts lost their penultimate home game and are now sixth in the league standings.

Jaipur took the lead in the 4th minute through their captain Jasvir Singh and from there on they dominated the first half.  A couple of super tackles from Delhi-first by Rakesh Bharadwaj and then by Dadaso Balaso Awad in the 10th minute - kept Jaipur's lead to two points.  But the resistance was soon finished as Jaipur inflicted the first allout in the 14th minute with the scoreboard 13-6 in their favour.

Kashiling Adake renewed Delhi's bid and scored a two- point raid, but Jaipur was quick to quell the home team's hopes of a comeback, ending the first half with a 19-9 lead.

A ten point lead within five minutes of the second half turned into 21 points as Jaipur secured a swift third allout.

In the 31st minute, a fourth allout made it 40-15. Quick thinking on Jasvir's part caught Delhi's two defenders out as he followed Adake's empty raid with a dash and a couple of touches.

There was still time for another allout which came in the 36th minute as the scoreline touched 50 for the pink brigade.

For Delhi, Adake was again the lone bright spot with 9 points. Delhi end their home leg with a game against second placed Telugu Titans on Tuesday while Jaipur will take on bottom placed Puneri Paltan.

Result: Jaipur Pink Panthers 51 (Rajesh Narwal 19, Jasvir Singh 9) bt Dabang Delhi 21 (Kashiling Adake 9, Dadaso Balaso Awad 3)
