The Bombay High Court on Wednesday directed its Registry to prepare afresh the paper-book — compilation of documentary evidence — in the 2002 hit-and-run case involving Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, by September 7.
“The paper-book needs to be prepared afresh,” said Justice A R Joshi, who is hearing the appeal of Khan against his May 6 conviction and five-year jail term by the Mumbai Sessions Court. Khan has been on bail granted by the Bombay High Court.
The judge posted the case for further hearing on September 7, when it would inspect the documents.
