The BJP will stage statewide protests on September 22 and 23 against load-shedding in the State.
Addressing a press meet in Bengaluru on Tuesday, BJP State president Pralhad Joshi said party workers will lay siege to escom offices at the taluk level during the protest.
He said lack of coordination between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Energy Minister D K Shivakumar had resulted in the present power crisis. He demanded that Siddaramaiah should immediately take over the energy portfolio.
