<p>Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Jagmohan Dalmiya, who was admitted to hospital a few days ago after complaining of chest pain, passed away at a city hospital on Sunday evening following a massive cardiac arrest. He was 75. <br /><br />He had undergone coronary angiography at a Kolkata-based hospital after suffering a massive heart attack on September 17. “Dalmiya died of internal gastrointestinal bleeding and internal organ failure,” said hospital sources.</p>.<p>Cricket Association of Bengal sources added: “At 6 pm in the evening, his condition deteriorated and shortly afterwards he suffered a massive cardiac arrest from which he could not recover.”<br /><br />Dalmiya had not been keeping well for some time and was not actively taking part in the daily functioning of the BCCI.<br /><br /></p>
