Funds sanctioned for drinking water projects, says MLA

He was speaking after inaugurating a Janaspandana programme at Belaganahalli in Kolar taluk on Monday. The village comes under the Bangarpet Assembly Constituency. The road project linking the Utturuv via Belaganahalli at a cost of Rs 80 lakh was also launched on the occasion. Narayanaswamy said that KSRTC bus service had also been started to Belaganahalli village.

The villagers complained to the MLA that village accountant Ramakrishnappa was not responding to public woes.  Zilla Panchayat member Mangalamma Muniswamy said that Rs 1 lakh had been sanctioned for the construction of water tank.
