Playground needs attention

Yelachenahalli on Kanakapura Road has only one playground which is used for multi-purpose activities.
The playground has a walking track and a few benches. Most of the tiles on the walking track are displaced and the benches are broken. The ground has been dug at a few places. People walk on the playground, which is very dangerous, since the pits are not covered. Children from the nearby school also visit the playground. The residents request the BBMP set the playground in order.

Road turns public urinal
It has become impossible to walk on Pottery Road as the whole stretch has turned into a public urinal. This menace has to be stopped immediately. Many use this road for their morning walks and people also use the sky-walk here to get to the other side of the road. Will the officials do the needful immediately?

Commuters want bus shelter in HSR Layout
Infrastructure in HSR Layout, where several bureaucrats and politicians reside, has unfortunately taken a back seat.
Commuters from the locality do not have a proper bus shelter near the BDA complex bus stop on the outer ring road. They are forced wait on the roadsides. With vehicles plying dangerously in both directions, citizens are forced to save their skin. The officials concerned should look into the matter and provide a bus shelter at the earliest.

No lights in park
Not a single light works in the BBMP park at 6th Main, 9th Cross, Sadashivanagar, Ward No 35. This has been the case for the last one year. The park has become a recluse for smokers and drunkards. A complaint was lodged with the BBMP control room (Complaint No 10518429). The matter has been brought to the notice of the corporator. I even called the BBMP Commissioner Kumar Naik and the concerned area engineer Anand, but there was no response from either. The problem has not been solved till date. I request the BBMP to instal the lights at the earliest.

Traffic jam during peak hours
Students and office-goers are put to hardship due to traffic jam in Kamakshipalya area, specially during the peak hours.
A large number of vehicles keep coming from the crossroads. A wide gap in the divider near a convention hall is also adding to the woes. Either a traffic signal should be installed or a traffic policeman should be deputed to streamline the flow, at the earliest.

Restore BSNL connectivity
In the recent months, the BSNL landline connectivity is not working properly and goes out of order frequently in M S Ramaiah City in J P Nagar 8th Phase. The Layout is well networked with BSNL underground cables for almost 550 houses and the BSNL has also set up a dedicated small telephone exchange with CUG facility. However, the services of the local BSNL office are very unsatisfactory even after repeated requests. We request senior officials to look into the matter and ensure restoration of the landline connectivity.

Asphalt road
We, the residents of 1st Cross, Krishnanagar Layout, have repeatedly tried to get the road repaired and asphalted, but our attempts have not yielded any results.
Now, that the elections to Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike are over and the newly elected corporators have taken up responsibilities in their respective wards, we hope our corporator Hanumanthaiah, representing the Uttarahalli Ward No 184, sets out to prove that he means business. The corproator has assured the residents that he would restore the road to normal condition at the time of elections. We earnestly hope that he will keep up his assurance.
