<p>A “resentment letter” will be written to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) for not inviting Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for a Nasscom event held in Bengaluru on Tuesday, said Law Minister T B Jayachandra.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Speaking to reporters after a State Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Jayachandra charged that the PMO had deliberately not invited Siddaramaiah for the event that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and German Chancellor Angela Merkel attended.<br /><br />“It is not just a breach of protocol but also an insult to the people of the State. Bengaluru has earned international fame as a global IT hub due to the contribution of the people here. The chief minister represents them and he should have been invited,” Jayachandra said. In a federal structure it was the duty of the PMO to invite the chief minister to the event attended by heads of States, he said.<br /><br />Several ministers at the cabinet meeting insisted that a “resentment letter” be written to the PMO, he added.</p>
