PFA Assam unit chairperson Sangeeta Goswami said the organisation's Rangiya unit members acting on a tip-off rescued the snakes and the porcupine at Rangiya Tiniali here.
The animals would be handed over to Assam State Zoo authorities in Guwahati tomorrow, she said. A few months ago 27 snakes were rescued from snake charmers and released in the nearby jungles, Goswami added.
