Last Updated 27 October 2015, 19:54 IST

A day after putting in papers as Advocate General, Ravivarma Kumar remained incommunicado for the whole day on Tuesday.

He was not reachable on his mobile phone and landline numbers. None of his associates too had any information about his whereabouts. Sources said that Kumar might have flown to the US on Monday itself. The High Court of Karnataka will reopen after Dasara holidays on Wednesday and several important matters are likely to come up for hearing this week.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who received AG's resignation on Monday, told reporters in Delhi on Tuesday that he would speak to Kumar after he (chief minister) returns to Bengaluru.  The chief minister is expected to return on Wednesday evening.
