Actor Ramesh Aravind seems to be blessed with inexhaustible energy. The storehouse of his ideas too never runs dry. Within a few months of his ‘Uttama Villain’ hitting the screen, Ramesh has already readied the script for his next film which, he says, “will have a big star specially imported from the Telugu film industry”.

“I was in Hyderabad recently and went to finalise the cast for the film but I can’t give away the details of it just yet,” says the actor. He says that the film will be a crime thriller, which will have action, romance, comedy and suspense in equal measure. While Ramesh is busy running around to get his next directorial up, he has also signed up to act in Sunil Kumar Desai’s next film. Sunil and Ramesh have worked together and have given some wonderful movies and one among them is ‘Nammoora Mandara Hoove’. “It’s always a pleasure to work with friends and Sunil packs a lot of different interesting elements into his movies. This film is an endearing love story and I play the character of a man caught between two women,” shares Ramesh.

He believes that people have started taking notice of his character in the film. “I always like to dip my fingers into something new and challenging. I see new possibilities with this character, since it’s not a regular one. I am pretty excited about the role and I am looking forward to knowing what people have to say about it,” he explains. He feels his new role gives him enough scope for performance. “I want to be able to look back and say to myself that I am one of those who has tried a lot of things,” he adds. The movie, which is as yet untitled, will also have Anant Nag and Rangayana Raghu in lead roles.

About Sunil, Ramesh says that he is best remembered for his hat-trick of hits in the 1990s with ‘Beladingala Baale’ and ‘Nishkarsha.’ And being a director himself, he says that he understands exactly what a director wishes to convey and why a role is designed the way it is. “Sunil and I got along famously whenever we have worked together. His latest venture has a huge star cast, which not only makes the script interesting but poses a challenge to the director,” he adds. He says that he always enjoys working with directors like Sunil who really know their stuff.
