<p>Shree Ram Sena chief Pramod Muthalik has condemned Janpith awardee Girish Karnad for his reported remarks against Kempegowda.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Addressing mediapersons here on Wednesday, Mutalik said, a day after Karnad had stoked a controversy, he has appoligised for his remarks against Kempegowda. Although Karnad had tendered an apology, it was insufficient. He demanded the litterateur to return back his Jnanpith award.<br /><br />He said that Karnad was competing with the State government and was marching ahead in appeasing the Muslims. By stating that Kempegouda was not a freedom fighter, Karnad had shown that he was intolerant and had violated the provisions of Article 48.</p>
