The ‘Entrepreneurship Awareness Drive Bangalore 2015’ was held at the International School of Management Excellence in partnership with IIT Kharagpur.

   The objective of this event was to promote an entrepreneurial ecosystem in India and nurture the next generation of job creators. The speakers at the event were Ashok Soota, Executive Chairman, ‘Happiest Minds’; Subhendhu Panigrahi, co-founder, Venturesity and Innovation; Vir Kashyap, Co-founder and CEO, Babajob.com; Tripat Preet Singh, founder and COO, of Tagos Design Innovations Pvt Ltd.

The event was attended by corporate, faculty members and students of ISME and several colleges of Bangalore like NMIMS, Garden City College, Amity, ISBR, IFIM, IBMR, Indo German Training Centre and more. Ashok Soota gave an insight into entrepreneurship right from ideation, funding to scaling the next level. He urged the students to make use of the large opportunities available and take the right steps at the right time. He gave several examples from his own company ‘Happiest Minds’ and how to create a right work culture where employees align with the goal of company. In the end, he took several questions from the audience.

Other speakers also spoke about their journey and tried to infuse a spirit of entrepreneurship in students.

   Tripat Singh and Shubhendu did a joint session and talked to the students about startup companies, the advantages and disadvantages of careers with a startup.
    Vir Kashyap of Baba Job.com explained experiences with the company and how it has made a big impact in social sector.

   Nitin Garg Director, ISME, gave the perspective ‘Think like an Entrepreneur’.    The event gave an opportunity to students to listen and closely interact with successful entrepreneurs.
