People can now avail police clearance at click of mouse

Mysuru city police launch 14 online verification services

Taking technology to another level to enable citizens, especially netizens, to avail various services at the click of a mouse, the city police have launched online verification service.

According to a release from police commissioner’s office, as many as 14 services wil be provided online with prescribed fee for the same. The users have to visit the website of the city police ‘www.mysorecitypolice.gov.in’ and click on online service icon.

The fee can be paid either at MysoreOne and upload the receipt of the same on
the website or through credit card, debit card, visa card, or any other cards, as used in other online services.

Following this, the applicants have to upload their passport size photo, address and date of birth related records. Once the given documents are verified, the certificate will be dispatched to the senders’ mail ID.

The original certificate will be issued at the police commissioner’s office.

The services offered and the fees prescribed are as follows:
1. Police clearance certificate for Indian citizens for accepting or donating kidney, adoption of child or for purchase of property in other states and for business purposes. The fee will be Rs 200.
2. Verification and comparison of fingerprint. Fees for each verification and also for extra 10 certified copies is fixed at Rs 500.
3. Police clearance certificate for going abroad (Visa for studies) / Immigration purpose also for obtaining green card - Rs 200.
4. Police verification certificate for Central / State Government employees request directly by employee, for antecedents verification - Rs 250.
5. Police verification certificate for coolie, loader, class IV security staff, supervisor at airport. (Individual applicants only), for antecedents verification - Rs 100.
6. Police verification certificate for NCC / NSS students attending training camps, for antecedents verification - Rs 50.
7. Police verification certificate for training / apprenticeship at public sector undertakings or for trainees / workers working on daily wages at
government Institutions, for antecedents verification - 
Rs 50.
8. Police verification certificate for marriage alliances, for antecedents verification - Rs 300.
9. Police verification certificate of institutions / companies, for antecedents verification along with address verification - Rs 1,000.
10. Police verification certificate for domestic servants, house keeping, for antecedents and address verification - Rs 500.
11. Police verification certificate for domestic servants, house keeping, for antecedents verification only - Rs 250
12. Police verification certificate for job aspirants (General) antecedents along with address verification - Rs 250.
13. Police verification certificate (PVC/PCC) for job purpose to MNCs / private sector / corporate and other companies, for antecedents and verification (amount to be paid by the company) - Rs 1,000.
14. Police verification certificate for job purpose to MNCs / private sector / corporate and other companies, for antecedents verification only (as per police station records) - Rs 300.
