BMRCL conducts mock drill

A mock drill rescue of one train by another was undertaken at the Vijayanagar Metro station on Monday as a routine exercise to handle in times of crises.

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) undertakes such mock drill periodically to educate the commuters how to handle emergency situations. Even BMRCL staff is trained periodically in this drill to handle emergency situations.

There were no passengers on the train when the mock drill was conducted. Only BMRCL staff were included in the training sessions to handle emergency situations. Such mock drills are conducted once or twice a month after the revenue service is closed.
