The Transport department on Tuesday seized as many as 165 vehicles for various violations in the City.
The department conducted the enforcement drive near Bannerghatta Road, Jayadeva Hospital Circle, Brigade Millenium, Dairy Circle, Mico Layout, Udupi Garden, Ashoka Pillar, Banashankari and surrounding areas.
Private vehicles including buses were checked for plying without permits, loading of goods and not carrying valid documents like emission test and insurance certificates, a press note said.
