Missing Mumbai youth found in Pak

In what comes as a major relief, a Mumbai youth Hamid Nehal Ansari, who has been missing for over three years, has been found in the custody of the Pakistani Army.

Hamid Ansari, now around 30, has been missing since November 2012 and his parents Nehal Ahmed Ansari and Fauzia Ansari had left no stone unturned to trace him. However, despite all the efforts, they had not been able to visit Pakistan in search of their son.

Hamid’s family is highly educated. His mother Fauzia, is a professor of Hindi and she had a written a book “Azadi Ke Aandolan Mein Musalmano Ki Bhumika”. His father is a banker.

Latest reports from Peshawar said: “A divisional bench of the Peshawar High Court disposed of the case of Indian national Nehal Hamid Ansari, missing in Pakistan for over three years, after the government on Wednesday confirmed that he was currently in army custody and facing a trial in military courts.”
